André Dolabella was born in Belo Horizonte in 1983. In Brazil he studied
with Professors Robério Molinari and Frédéric Meinders. From 2002 to 2008 he studied with Professor Fany Solter and graduated with high honors with his Masters of Music at the University of Music Karlsruhe, Germany.
Winner of several national piano competitions in Brasil, among them:
Arnaldo Estrella (Juiz de Fora), Young Soloists OSPA (Porto Alegre),
Governador Valadares, "Guiomar Novaes" (SP), Arte Livre "Young Talents" (SP). National Franz Liszt Piano Competition (Niterói, RJ).
In Germany in 2003, the „KulturFonds Baden V.“ School
of Music in Karlsruhe. André was selected and got a scholarship to
attend the Wagner Festival in Bayreuth, summer of 2004.
In the same year he won the Competition for Pianists "Dr. Herr Büttner" in Karlsruhe.
He has played as a soloist in various orchestras, such as: Symphony Orchestra of Minas Gerais , Symphony Orchestra of Porto Alegre, Philharmonic Orchestra of Bacau (Romania), Orchestra of the State of Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen, Germany).
He has worked as a soloist and chamber musician in various cities in Brazil
Italy, Spain, Germany, Greece and Finland, totaling more than 200 concerts.
He has recorded for radio SWR and NDR in Germany.
